I am also seeing a very aggressive exploration and co-creation of VR for nursing education. Not only I pre-licensure but also for orientation and onboarding as well.
Definitely opens up the world of simulation labs, virtual classes, and more OTJ training – however I suspect that GNs are not as ready to hit the floor as previous years, since their clinicals have been in sim labs vs hospitals… more mentoring is needed, another use of the Virtual Nurse!
