We love our rolling carts, however, the next phase has evolved, moving beyond carts – using sensors to leverage  in room TVs. Using sensors and fixing wall or ceiling mounted technology allows us to move in and out of our patients rooms with ease and grace. Coordinated efforts with virtual nurses supporting the bedside nurse and patient (families too) is the next phase. The next frontier of the patient’s “smart room” has arrived and everyone benefits.
