During the past several covid intense years, many healthcare systems developed extensive wellness programs for their employees. Wellness programs offered extensive programs and services to meet their employees needs. Virtual nursing will offer an opportunity for nurses to continue to play a key role in patient care.
While true- we have to redesign the work of nurses to improve retention. This requires collaborative approaches to completely change what nurses do and how they do it. Not to mention practicing at the top of their license and creating care teams that look different than today.
